Barry Gordon, DVM - FOUNDER (retired)
Dr. Barry Gordon graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in 1968 and received his DVM from Auburn University in 1973. He started Lenoir City Animal Clinic in 1978. He and his wife Sherry have a son, daughter and two grandsons. In his free time. he loves visiting the kids and playing with Bentley, his shelter adopted fur child.
Laura Seheult, DVM, CVA - Medical Director
Dr. Laura Seheult is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and is a proud Gator. Dr. Laura serves as our Medical Director and she brags that she has the best staff! Dr. Laura and her husband, Jordan, have two rescue fur children (Josh and Lincoln) that rule their household. Her professional interests include anything feline related, internal medicine, dentistry, and low stress handling techniques.
Dr. Laura is a now a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist from Florida's Chi University. LCAC will be providing acupuncture as an alternative medicine service to our patients in late spring or early summer.
When not spending time at LCAC, Dr. Laura enjoys reading, traveling, and experiencing the four seasons in Tennessee!
Thomas Bradbury, DVM
Dr. Thomas Bradbury graduated from The University of Tennessee and joined Lenoir City Animal Clinic in 1979. He and his wife Kimber, have 2 adult daughters and one granddaughter. We love Panda, Oodle, Gucci, Littleman, Chanel #5, and Katrina, our six fur children. Professional interests include medicine, surgery, and imaging. Hobbies are golfing, hiking, Tennessee sports and traveling.
Stephanie Myers, DVM
Dr. Stephanie Myers graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Psychology and received her DVM from Oklahoma State University. She joined Lenoir City Animal Clinic, PC in 1994. She is married, has two daughters, and a loving but crazy Boston Terrier named Annie. Professional interests include dermatology, cardiology, and geriatric medicine. Out of the office, Dr. Myers enjoys hiking, traveling, and sporting events with her family.
Caroline Billings, DVM
Dr. Caroline Billings is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She joined Lenoir City Animal Clinic in the summer of 2020 as a part-time associate, while she is completing her PhD in regenerative medicine. Her professional interests include cardiology and preventative care.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, running, and pretty much anything outdoors.
Misty Wilson – Practice Manager
Misty Wilson has been a LCAC staff member since 1995. She is the Office Manager of LCAC. A Loudon native, when she’s not at work, you can find Misty either on the lake, on a hike, with loved ones and her fur kids, or performing volunteer work with a local animal rescue. Every football Saturday though, she will be passionately cheering on her favorite SEC football team (we won’t tell you which one!).
Misty has one wonderful human child, Zack, and two amazing canine children, Logan and Rudy.
She loves her job and her clients/patients. Her friends would describe her as one of the most caring, compassionate and biggest hearted people, but if you ask her she will tell you that she is the lucky one to be part of such an amazing team.
Debe Jenkins – Receptionist
Debe Jenkins is one of the first smiling faces you’ll encounter at Lenoir City Animal Clinic. Between her friendly personality & bubbly antics, she’ll be sure to brighten your day. Originally from Chicago, but will proudly brag about becoming a “Reborn Rebel” after her many years of calling TN home. When she’s not assisting our clients, she enjoys spending time with her daughters & church family. Her love for animals & passion for helping others makes her an asset to our team.
Deborah Vincent – Receptionist
Deborah is a receptionist who loves animals, and has a toy poodle and a parlor panther who grace her home. She has lived all over the U. S. , but has spent almost 30 years in Florida. She has 2 children and a granddaughter who reside in the sunny state of Florida. When not answering the phones and taking care of clients she loves spending time in the mountains and working on her crafts.
Raina Karras - Receptionist
Raina loves playing with her puppy and cuddling with her sugar glider.
Brittany Hopson – Lead Assistant
Brittany Hopson joined the LCAC staff in 2018. She started her career in the animal field at a young age along side of her aunt who is a veterinarian in Nashville, TN. It started off with helping out at her aunt's clinic every summer then turned into her career and passion. She hopes to further her education in the animal field and one day become a veterinarian.
When she’s not working her favorite things to do are adventure to anything with water, hike, spend time with friends/family, ice skate, and hangout with her fur babies.
Tori Alexander – Veterinarian Assistant
Tori is a native of Roane County. She is an avid animal lover and advocate. When not working she loves to spend free time reading and hanging out with family. She co-owns ToBro Bath Co. which is a local small business in Roane County. Tori joined the LCAC staff in May of 2012.
Chelsey Fortner – Veterinarian Assistant
Chelsey is a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. She looks to further her education in the future by attending vet school and working with any and all types of animals.
In her free time, you can catch her hiking, working out, camping, kayaking, or anything else outdoors. Chelsey also loves all things sports. And yes, she's a Vol For Life... even if they give her heart attacks every football season.
Christine Bray – Veterinarian Assistant
Christine is a Loudon County native and has been a member of the LCAC team since September 2017. She is an avid animal and nature lover. In her spare time, she loves to adventure and spend time with her family and friends.
Kendall Heath – Veterinarian Assistant
Kendall was and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. After attending the University of Tennessee for four years, she graduated in 2019 with her Bachelors Degree in Animal Science. She has two cats of her own and love working with animals!
Karlie Tipton – Veterinarian Assistant
Karlie is originally from Gilbert, AZ, and moved to Knoxville in December of 2016. She has recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree of animal science. She hopes to continue her education and become a Veterinarian. Karlie has been working in the veterinary field since 2014 and enjoys every minute of it! She started working at Lenoir City Animal Clinic in June of 2019.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, visiting with family or friends, going to the dog park, camping, hiking, and wakeboarding. Karlie has one pet named Axel, a Great Dane that makes her life complete.
Taylor Toris – Veterinarian Assistant
Taylor is originally from Hazlet, New Jersey and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in January 2020. She joined the LCAC team shortly after moving to the state. Animals have been a part of her life for as long as she can remember, so naturally, she chose as career that revolves around them. Taylor currently has two cats of her own, Goose and Stitch, and one horse, named Koa. Aside from working with small animals like dogs and cats, Taylor enjoys training horses in her spare time.
Joella Payne – Veterinarian Assistant
Joella has been with LCAC since 2014. She thoroughly enjoys feeding, caring for all the fur babies and cleaning. Always eager to learn from and assist the assistants and doctors. She and her husband live in Lenoir City. They have two children and a daughter-in-law.
When not working, she loves being with family and camping with her fur babies.
Madison Oody – Veterinarian Assistant
Madison graduated from Lenoir City High School in 2019. She lives with her parents and her two dogs, Zoe and Sadie. She loves working at the clinic, helping coworkers, and taking care of the animals.
In her free time, she enjoys visiting with neighbors and taking her dogs for a stroll.
Rachel Atkins – Veterinarian Assistant
Rachel has had a passion for taking care of animals for as long as she can remember. Her high school senior superlative was "Animal Lover."
She currently shares a home with her three dogs, four cats, and ball python. She decided to combine her passion for animals with her career around two years ago and has loved working with animals so far!
Tara Brooks – Veterinarian Assistant
Tara has always worked with animals in some shape or form. Whether in a clinical setting or during her classes at the University of Tennessee, she is always studying new things about several different animal species. She hopes to continue her education in animal science and later specialize in veterinary anesthesia and emergency care as a LVT.
When she isn’t studying, Tara enjoys spending time with her cat, Evie, and listening to music on long drives.
Magena Straight – Veterinarian Assistant
Magena moved to Tennessee October 2020. She has loved helping animals since she was little. When not at work She loves being outside kayaking, riding her horse, or spending time with her two dogs and bunny! She hopes to further her education and earn her license as a veterinary technician.
